The Burbank Boulevard Parent University is a way for parents and other care givers to learn more about the educational process and become more involved in their child's education.  Participants are given a Parent University Transcript which they use to keep track of the Parent University requirements as they complete them.  The Parent University Transcript is modeled after the A-G requirements that are part of the high school graduation requirements in LAUSD and are the minimal requirements for acceptance into a Cal State University (CSU) or University of California (UC).  The idea is to help parents become more informed about the educational process and help them learn what is required of their child for high school graduation and college acceptance.  Parents who successfully complete the Burbank Boulevard Parent University receive a "diploma" and an alumni t-shirt.  We encourage all parents, care givers, and community members to participate in the Parent University!
