Francine Vasquez-Taylor

My name is Francine Vasquez-Taylor, I am the Magnet Second Grade Teacher at Burbank Blvd. Elementary & Gifted Global Learning Magnet. I have worked as a classroom teacher for 22 years at Burbank Blvd. Elementary. I have worked collaboratively with faculty and staff in various school positions, such as Grade level chair, Nutrition Network lead teacher, Health Education Programs coordinator, and ELD Practicum lead teacher. I feel I was called into teaching.  My mother was elementary teacher, and spent countless hours helping in her class when I was growing up. I was taught the education is key to understanding our world that we live in and key to helping to build a strong productive society.
