Denise Emerson

My name is Denise Emerson, Ms. Denise to my students.  I have been a special education teacher for 29 years.  I have been at Burbank ES for 25 years.  I teach the PAL (Preschool for All Learners) class.  I am the grade level chairperson, the GATE coordinator and a mentor teacher.  Currently, I am on SSC/LSLC.  

I believe all children have the right to an education and I believe all children can learn.

I have a wonderful family, Patrick my husband, Karly (14) and Lily (10).  I enjoy spending time at the beach with my family.
